Kayaking on the Brisbane River with Riverlife
Rain or shine, you will love kayaking on the Brisbane River! Whether you are a first-timer or an experienced paddler, see our river city in a unique and exciting way. Learn how to paddle, turn and stop a kayak as well as how to get back in if you fall out! From there, take a leisurely kayak to South Bank or under the Story Bridge.
Riverlife offers daily kayak and kayak hire sessions as well as night kayaking on Fridays and Saturdays. Also available, are Riverlife’s night packages, which include a one and a half hour night kayak, followed by beer and prawns (Fridays) or a classic Aussie BBQ (Saturdays) in Riverlife’s elegant riverfont deck.
Riverlife kayaking sessions are guided by qualified and experienced instructors. Each session includes instruction, a safety briefing and equipment check. Safety equipment includes a Personal Flotation Device (PFD), kayak and paddle. No experience is necessary! Minimum 8 years of age. Bookings are essential.
