COLOMBIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY Festival 2008

Colombia beautiful country in South America where the children grown around the musical living and the love of been part of a family. Colombia knowing for its diverse music tradition and culture from the south to the north and from the west to the east music is playing in different ways; typical instruments are using to represent specific traditions from the different regions.

The Colombian calendar is full of festivals, carnivals and parties. About every day there is a festival taking place somewhere in Colombia.

Since its inception, Cachicamo Colombian Group has been celebrating Colombian Independence Day, which is a Colombian holiday on July 20th. Every year, this special day is celebrated with A big party in which all people and friends get together, honour the Colombian anthem, eat, and party with typical Colombian food, drinks and music.

Due to the success and crowd this “festival” will be celebrating for two days live entertainment: Friday 18 ‘Fiesta Blancos & Negros’ at the Valley Hotel, 2nd floor 388 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley from 8:00pm to 5:00am and Saturday 19 July 2008 ‘Gala Dinner” at Colossus Hall, 71 Jane St, West End from 7:000pm to 1:00am
