Pinnacle Sports provide exciting adventure training for adults and kids!
Have you always wanted totry abseiling at Kangaroo Point, or join others at Kangaroo Point rock climbing?
Then this stimulating and challenging 6 week course is for you.
It is held onTuesday evenings from 6.00pm until 9.00pm (please enquire for start dates).
There aretwo levels.
INTRODUCTORY which is aimed at adults who have not climbed or have little experience.
INTERMEDIATE which continues on where the first course curricula finishes. Some activities allow both groups to join together.
The aim of the course is to promote confidence and fitness in a stimulating fun and social environment. Rock Climbing and Abseiling are activities which provide both physical and mental challenges. You will find that you improve quickly (both physically and technically) and gain an amazing sense of achievement as youprogress througheach week.
Over the 6 weeks you will learn to Rock climb under expert guidance, with our aim to help all participants reach their own individual goals.
You will also learn how to belay other climbers and to Abseil!
These techniques all go towards furthering your progress in the vertical world, with the aim being for you to be able to participate in the world of rock climbing independently and with confidence.
The Venue: Kangaroo Point Cliffs is a Brisbane landmark. The cliffs are around 20 metres high and have a range of climbs from medium grade up to very difficult.
Pinnacle Sports Learn To Climb Itinerary
Week 1: Climbing and Bouldering, learn to tie safety knots, learn to belay
Week 2: Climbing and Bouldering/further belay techniques
Week 3: 20 metre Abseil
Week 4: Climbing and techniques
Week 5: Climbing and Bouldering
Week 6: Climbing plus presentation of club cards

Cost for the course is $255.00 for 6 weeks.
Included in the cost is the loan of all specialised gear Harness, Helmet, Climbing shoes etc. Also after the course is over you get free unlimited access toall Social Club Events.
Pinnacle Sports Instructors are professional and highly qualified in their field. They all possess PACI (professional association of climbing instructors) qualifications. We provide a very positive and encouraging social atmosphere and most of all make the session’s fun.
